In 1998 on the grounds of the oldest industrial enterprises in Ternopil- plant “Orhosnastka”, exercising the innovation project “The introduction of technology for water-heat treatment crops”, was established buckwheat processing plant. The project is based on new technological solutions designed to improve the production cycle.
In 1999 the plant started its first production line of buckwheat grouts. In 2001 “Orhosnastka” was rewarded by the Ternopol Regional Council in the nomination “Restoring Production”. Next year Ukraine State Department registered trademark “Ekor”. Open Joint Stock Company “Ekor” - Organic Whole Grain Buckwheat Grouts- firmly entrenched in the market of cereals in Ukraine for the high quality and reasonable prices.
In 2003 “Ekor” became the winner in the nomination “100 Best Products Of Ukraine-2003” at the regional level. Since 2004, the environmentally-friendly plant Ekor actively collaborates with partners in Russia, Germany, Poland, Serbia and Portugal.
In 2007 “Ekor” became the winner of “100 Best Products Of Ukraine” for its high quality. In 2008 “Ekor” was awarded with the diploma “Best Domestic Product Of 2008”. In 2009 our company received an honor from the International Academy of Rating Technology and Sociology “Golden Fortune”.
With a plant for the production of buckwheat grouts from 1999 to 2007 gross revenue increased by an average 22.84% with the increase in the release of goods an average of 31.48% annually.
Ekor became popular in Ukraine and expands into European market because of their world class attention to the quality of their products, employment conditions as a basis asset of the company, developing high-tech production lines, also investing in further research and innovations.
